The Institute of Corrosion in association with the Institute of Metal Finishing are organising this year’s UK corrosion conference along with the ICorr Corrosion Science Division’s ‘Corrosion Science Symposium’. The meeting, as titled, will focus on how corrosion can be managed to ensure sustainability. Speakers have been chosen to represent specific topics/industrial sectors although a limited number of presentations will be selected from abstracts submitted to the conference. A provisional programme is detailed below.

Please note that there is an open call for abstracts to the Corrosion Science Symposium and abstracts not selected for the UK Corrosion sessions will be referred to the CSS committee for inclusion in the sessions of the CSS.

A joint poster session (with prize) will be held for both the Conference and CSS.

The meeting will take place in the home of Stainless Steel and the venue is Sheffield Hallam University. Final programme and registration details will be announced here, in Corrosion Management, on and via the OCCA website (www.occa.org.uk).For those wishing to submit an abstract, please send to;
