FM Conway Ltd is a multi- disciplined construction contractor, operating from head offices in Dartford, Kent with strategic business centres across London and the South East.

FM Conway Limited is a member of the British Safety Council, the Civil Engineering Contractors’ Association and the Quarry Products Association. We are also BSI registered for our environmental and quality management systems.

The Structures and Maintenance Division of FM Conway Ltd, has since 1991, maintained various highway structures for both public and private Clients, including Westminster City Council, The City of London, The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, London Boroughs of Barnet, Bexley, Bromley, Lambeth and Southwark, Accord MP and Carillion PLC.

We maintain many of the Thames River Crossings in addition to strategic assets such as pedestrian subways, vehicle underpasses, retaining walls and pipe subways, with works varying from minor structural maintenance, planned preventative maintenance, M&E maintenance, Cathodic Protection Systems monitoring, tunnel management and refurbishment/ strengthening schemes.

Recent contracts of note are:

Refurbishment of Chelsea Bridge, including the preparation and repainting of the entire structure and the replacement of all the electrics and lighting.

Repainting of Ladbroke Grove Bridge over the Grand Union Canal.

A404 Harrow Road (Elevated), including installation of cathodic protection systems and extensive concrete repairs.

Piccadilly Underpass - Application of anti carbonation paint to the underground service rooms/ and plenum chambers

Various Rail bridges in Southwark, including grit blasting to brickwork, application of protective systems to steelwork and application of anti graffiti coatings

Bryanston Street Car Park, including total refurbishment of car park, comprising decoration of all previously painted surfaces and specialist surface coatings to floor.
