Rowecord Engineering Ltd is one of the principle structural steelwork contractors in the UK, a leading member of the British Constructional Steel Association.

Formed in 1967, we are part of the well-established Rowecord Group of companies and regularly work together with Rowecord companies on major construction projects.

Industry leaders in conforming to the quality standard BS EN ISO 9001:2000, approved by the Steel Construction Certification Scheme Ltd, (SCCS) and our in-house design capability complies with BS:5950. Committed to the latest technology, we have invested over £2million in new design, engineering and manufacturing technology.

A production capacity of in excess of 20,000 tonnes per annum, we employ over 450 people. Our project department which has “X-Steel” 3D and CSC-CAD 2D detailing facilities with direct links to production control and manufacturing lines.

Our “I-beam-FRO-T” master plate girder automatic manufacturing line produces plate girders to suit clients’ special requirements for both bridges and buildings.
