To advance the understanding of the science, technology and engineering practice of corrosion control and its sound management and economics.

To encourage the exchange of information and ideas on these subjects for the public benefit.

To action a wide variety of corrosion related events and co-operate in other activities with appropriate societies, organisations and Government Departments.
