ICorr Membership
The ICorr is concerned
with training and endorses a range of short modular corrosion courses at a
number of UK universities and training centers which can be used to qualify for
professional membership of the Institute. Currently the ICorr is looking at how
the provision of training through National Vocational Qualifications NVQs and
Distance Learning can be best harnessed.
Anyone with an interest in corrosion can join as an ordinary member; and
subsequently with suitable qualifications/experience obtain TICorr membership
or become a professional member which entitles the use of Member of the
Institute of Corrosion (MICorr) or Fellow of the Institute of Corrosion
(FICorr), accordingly, as letters after their name. Full details on membership
can be obtained from the Leighton Buzzard office.
