Produced with the assistance of the Galvanizers Association, this course is designed to prepare individuals for the ICorr Hot Dip Galvanizing Inspector examination. This may be taken on the second half of the second day of the course, or on any other weekday thereafter provided the examination is taken within 90 days of the end of the course.

ICorr Online Recertification

RInstitute of Corrosion Online Recertification

Why attend this course?

This course allows Institute of Corrosion certificated professionals to maintain their qualification for a further five years through an online assessment. This programme allows professionals to apply and complete in their own time without the requirement to attend a training centre or interrupting work.

This is a multiple – choice exam for:

Painting Inspector Level 1

Painting Inspector Level 2

Pipeline Coating Inspector

Fireproofing Inspector

Insulation Inspector

Hot Dip Galvanizing Inspector

Users are required to submit the following before being granted access to the recertification programme:

– Download and complete the recertification application form >
– Your up to date C.V.
– Evidence of your certification in an Institute of Corrosion recognised Inspector Scheme
– Passport-type photograph

Once the required documents have been submitted and accepted, users will be given access to the programme where by they will be provided with relevant course notes before attempting an assessment where a 70% pass rate is required.

Upon passing the assessment, users’ certificates will be renewed for a further 5 years and certification and wallet card will be sent via post by the Institute of Corrosion.

Why attend this course?

Using our online programme, you can apply for transition into the scheme in the appropriate discipline, not into a particular grade or level.

– Download and complete the application form and upload with a copy of your CV
– Individuals receive access to the training notes for revision (optional)
– Complete a multiple choice assessment online (you get 3 attempts)
– Achieve a mark of 70% or higher to pass
– Receive your ICorr certification and ID card

Online Assessment

ICorr Level 1

The assessment for transition to ICorr Level 1 consists of 100 randomly chosen multiple choice questions to be completed in 1 hour

ICorr Level 2

The assessment for transition to ICorr Level 2 consists of 150 randomly chosen multiple choice questions to be completed in 1 hour 30 minutes.
