Cathodic Protection Concrete ISO Level 1

These ICorr courses and examination are in compliance with ISO 15257:2017 and are suitable for candidates without experience in cathodic protection, but candidates are expected to have some site experience in concrete repairs and in they may have been a part of teams installing CP systems in concrete.

Cathodic Protection Concrete ISO Level 2

These ICorr courses and examination are in compliance with ISO 15257:2017 and are suitable for candidates with or without experience in cathodic protection, but note that full certification to this level requires a minimum duration of one year’s approved experience, an examination pass and a subsequent application and assessment by the ICorr Professional Assessment Committee.

Cathodic Protection Concrete ISO Level 3

These ICorr courses and examination are in compliance with ISO 15257:2017 and are suitable for candidates with or without experience in cathodic protection, but note that full certification to this level requires a minimum duration of one year’s approved experience, an examination pass and a subsequent application and assessment by the ICorr Professional Assessment Committee.

Cathodic Protection Buried ISO Level 1

The course and examination are in compliance with ISO 15257:2017 and are suitable for candidates with no previous experience in cathodic protection.  The course is also suitable for those who merely require an appreciation of Cathodic Protection of On-land Applications (underground metallic structures) without pursuing certification.

Cathodic Protection Buried ISO Level 2

The course and examination are in compliance with ISO 15257:2017 and are suitable for candidates with or without experience in cathodic protection. Please note that full certification to the level requires a minimum duration of 1 year’s approved experience.

Cathodic Protection Marine ISO Level 2

This course is designed to prepare individuals for the ICorr Painting Inspector Level 1 examination. The course is suitable for candidates with or without experience in industrial painting or inspection and will also be applicable to those who require a knowledge of painting inspection but do not wish to take an examination.

Senior Cathodic Protection Engineer ICorr Level 4 in the Buried, Marine, Concrete and Internals Sectors to BS EN ISO 15257:2017

There are no training courses for Senior Cathodic Protection Engineer Level 4, training is by experience, in particular of detailed design and complex field work, which is expected to be directed by existing Level 4 personnel. Certification is by Peer Review and Interview.

ICorr now offer a Level 4 exam for the On-land, Marine and Concrete sectors. The exams are held at the Telford Training Centre and are booked to order. Please allow a minimum of six weeks from registering an interest in a level 4 exam, as each will be arranged individually. Once the exam has been passed, the applicant can then progress to the formal application and peer review stages.
