AI is influencing corrosion management faster than ever. Like in this case of Digital Paint Report (DPR) is a cloud based, AI driven tool designed to assist shipowners and operators in remotely monitoring coating and corrosion conditions aboard their vessels.
AI is influencing corrosion management faster than ever. Like in this case of Digital Paint Report (DPR) is a cloud based, AI driven tool designed to assist shipowners and operators in remotely monitoring coating and corrosion conditions aboard their vessels.
Steelcorr innovated by creating this “Digital Paint Report (DPR)© app, an AI-powered Corrosion and Hull Fouling Monitoring solution”, that is used by 500+ Ships globally. Leveraging machine learning algorithms, the app analyses uploaded images to detect areas of coating breakdown, grade corrosion severity, and track trends over time. It presents an intuitive dashboard with actionable insights, enabling more timely, consistent maintenance planning and reducing reliance on labour-intensive visual surveys. Already deployed on hundreds of vessels, the DPR app has demonstrated how intelligent imaging and remote data processing can significantly streamline hull maintenance workflows.
