Event Overview
Carbon Capture, Utilisation and Storage (CCUS) is central to achieving Net Zero targets. However, the deployment of dense phase CO₂ transport and storage networks introduces significant corrosion and integrity challenges.
This one-day technical conference will explore:
- CO₂ impurity reactions and acid formation
- Specification realism vs operational reality
- Corrosion testing challenges and methodology development
- Lessons from CCS network operations and design
- Modelling, autoclave testing, and full-scale validation
The event brings together operators, consultants, researchers, and testing specialists to examine the “big picture” corrosion challenges in CCUS infrastructure
